Robert Jenkinson wait maybe, is there differenet boot options? If it has before u open your pc insert then, if there are options 1,2,3. Change option 1 to the name of your usb then save. This should i work if not idk just try searching in internet do not give up because your pc/money would be wasted
right click on the Windows flag and select Disk Management for faster access to Disk Management also while in the menu from right-clicking on the Windows flag you can access device manager and system Etc
I really need ur professional help i built a pc about last year and after setting everything up i cant seem to get it to work i have my windows usb and the pc turns on but it will not appear on the monitor
I just installed windows 10 for the first time with an msi B350 tomahawk plus mother board and I have installed the drivers, could somebody please tell me how to wirelessly connect to my internet without an Ethernet cable. Please
ppl always told me to make a partition the drive you install Windows on, but I never knew why: maybe if you ruin your windows files you don't wipe your full drive..? Does someone know if it's worth to make a partition?
Paul thank you so much for this video. Building a pc was always a dream of mine but seemed a scary task. After binge watching your videos and Kyle's videos I finally got the courage of building my first pc. Thank you so mucb for your videos.
Thanks for the advice Paul. My son and I just built a computer. Msi 370, i5 and evga 1050. Followed you Ms download instructions. We realized we wanted applications too. What's the best way to get those?
im about to upgrade my computers cpu and mobo, going from an i5 6600 with an asus b150i mobo to an i7 8700k with a gigabyte z370n mobo, this is the first time i have upgraded and im just wondering if i will need to reinstall windows with the new hardware but since im not replacing my ssd or memory, will it boot up as normal without reinstalling windows ?
Hey Paul! I am using the exact same build as your previous video with the thermaltake case and so on. I am noticing that the large fan at the front of the case does not spin up when I turn the computer on, the lights and the processor fan do turn on. Any help or advice would be great! Also thanks so much for the videos I would otherwise be very lost.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'M BUILDING NEW PC AND WINDOWS INSTALLATION TAKE A REALLY LONG TIME TO BOOT. THEN I DISCONNECT THE HDD AND ONLY LEFT THE SSD, VOILA IT WORKS WINDOWS INSTALLATION LOAD FAST. THANKS TO YOU!!
I run a bootable USB or DVD that just runs and exercises all functions for 48 hours, because if hardware is going to fail it usually fails in the first 48 hours. Then I install whatever OS I am going to use.
Sorry for saying this because no one else seems to have the same problem that I do with this video.... and that is... If you spoke a little slower and didnt click boxes quite so quickly it would be better for us non tech types to follow. It seemed like you were in a race against time and left me thinking that I might be better to buy one off the shelf after all.
I've watched enough "building the pc" vids in order to know that I can do it, but this leaves me daunted as it appears to be more complex than actually putting the computer together.
Hi Paul! Thank you for this video! Im building my first pc and got as far as installing windows 10 then i got an Error Code 0x80070570 saying that files might be missing or corrupt during installation. I don't know if it's relevant but I made the USB installer from a mac. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
On my PC I use 2 8GB RAM Sticks and according to my MSI Motherboard manual I should be using the RAM SLOTS: 2,4. However my computer seems to turn off instantly whilst my sticks are in these slots, same goes for slots 1,3. 1 & 2 seem to work fine though, what's the reasoning for that?
My pc won't boot from the USB. When pressing F11, I can see uefi: usb and usb:usb ... If I select usb:usb it says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot media"... The uefi option does nothing...HELP!!!
i cant tell you back when i built my first pc how many times before installing windows i pressed the space bar and that same message popped up, but i didnt care because i had just built my first pc and i was fascinated
